Pride and Prejudice
By Joseph Hanreddy and J. R. SullivanAdapted from the novel by Jane Austen
Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park 2014
Director: Blake Robison
Scenic Designer: Joe Tilford
Costume Designer: Bill Black
Lighting Designer: Kevin Rigdon
Sound Designer: Joe Payne
This adaptation is fast paced, tightly wound, light-hearted, and beautiful to listen to. The sound design included snippets of Luigi Boccherini's guitar quintets, a stylized version of a piano-forte, and English country dances. Kate Cook starred in all three productions, and was delightful to watch in every moment.

Overall, the play was well executed. The English accents (dialect coach Jack Greenman) were flawless, the sound (Joe Payne) and lighting (Jaymi Lee Smith) were perfect.
