This sound design was a combination of my original score and dance hall music of the period, which echoed through an alley before it reached the tenement flat of Amanda and her dysfunctional family. The violin (played by my mother, Niki Allison) is for Tom, the piano is for Amanda, and the glockenspiel is for Laura. A score that combined "quaint" and modern memory.
